About Government Arts and Science College, Modakkurichi
Government Arts and Science College, Modakkurichi was established in 2012 as a constituent college of Bharathiar University, with the Tamil Nadu Government allotting 25 acres of land and Rs. 7.5 crore for a permanent campus building. The college began with five undergraduate programmes and has since grown to serve the educational needs of Modakkurichi and surrounding areas of Erode district. As a government institution, it continues to expand its infrastructure and course offerings under the Directorate of Collegiate Education, Tamil Nadu.
