About Government Arts and Science College, Thittamalai
Government Arts and Science College, Thittamalai was established in the academic year 2017-2018 and is affiliated to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. The college is located at Thittamalai, Nambiyur, Erode district, near the Thittamalai Murugan Temple. The institution was started with five courses and has subsequently expanded its academic offerings across Arts, Science, Commerce and Business Administration. The college currently offers eight undergraduate programmes including B.A. Tamil, B.A. English, B.A. Economics, B.A. History, B.B.A. Business Administration, B.Com., B.Sc. Computer Science and B.Sc. Mathematics. The official college website reports more than 1000 students, 40 faculty members and 8 departments. The institution also provides student-development activities through NSS, NCC, Sports, Youth Red Cross, Placement Cell, Women Cell and other extension activities. The college follows Government admission and reservation norms and provides opportunities for students from surrounding rural areas. Eligibility
Applicants should have passed the Higher Secondary Plus Two examination conducted by the Tamil Nadu State Board or an equivalent examination. PG eligibility requires a recognised undergraduate degree.

The college prepares rank lists based on the Part III total marks obtained in the Higher Secondary examination.
