Government Arts College, Udumalpet was established in 1971 with the vision of providing quality higher education to rural, underprivileged and meritorious students of the region. The college is located at Elaymuthur Pirivu, Udumalpet, in Tiruppur District, Tamil Nadu, and is affiliated to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. The institution has been accredited with an A Grade by NAAC and has an Internal Quality Assurance Cell to continuously improve academic and institutional quality.
