Jaya College of Paramedical Sciences, College of Pharmacy is managed by the Jaya Educational Trust and is one of the major institutions under the Jaya Group of Institutions. Established on 15th July 2001 vide G.O. Ms. No. 1654, Education Department, Government of Tamil Nadu, it is a self-financing college recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The college is affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. The college's vision is to 'Admit, Acquire, Achieve' in contributing to building an idealistic, modern and healthy India, while its mission is to 'Nurture and Develop' student talent through eminent faculty to support the nation's healthcare system. It offers programmes across Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutics, Anatomy-Physiology-Pharmacology, and Pharmaceutical Chemistry departments, along with a dedicated Department of Pharmacy running the Pharm.D programme (established September 2014) in collaboration with the Government Headquarters Hospital, Thiruvallur, for clinical training.
