Mohamed Sathak A.J. College of Physiotherapy, Chennai, was established in 2002 under the aegis of Mohamed Sathak Trust, a charitable educational organisation founded in 1973 by the philanthropic Mohamed Sathak family of Kilakarai, Ramnad district. Recognised by the Government of Tamil Nadu under G.O. No. 51 dated 22.02.01 and affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai, the institution is approved by the Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP). The college offers the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B.P.T.) — a 4-year programme with an additional six months of compulsory full-time internship — and the Master of Physiotherapy (M.P.T.) in various specialisations. With a team of professionally qualified faculty, well-equipped laboratories, an active physiotherapy clinic for community outreach, a comprehensive library with OPAC facility, and dedicated hostel facilities, the institution provides students with a rigorous and compassionate education in physiotherapy.

Admission Process
Register Through Tamil Nadu Paramedical Counselling Portal
Register at the official Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University counselling portal. Admission is based on qualifying examination marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics in 12th standard.
Certificate & Document Verification
Attend document verification with original certificates including 10th, 12th marksheets, community certificate, transfer certificate and other relevant documents.
Merit Rank & Category Allotment
Seat allotment is made based on merit rank, reservation category and course preference submitted during online counselling.
Confirm Allotment & Fee Payment
Accept the allotted seat online and remit the prescribed fees within the deadline through the university payment gateway.
Report to Campus & Enrollment
Report to the college on the joining date with all original documents for final enrolment and induction into the B.P.T. programme.
