About Nandha Dental College & Hospital, Erode
Nandha Dental College and Hospital was established in 2021 under the Sri Nandha Educational Trust, founded in 1992 by Chairman Thiru. V. Shanmugan, B.Com. Located on the Erode–Perundurai Main Road at Pitchandampalayam, Erode, the college is recognized by the Dental Council of India, approved by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, and affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. The college offers the undergraduate Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programme, a 5-year course comprising 4 years of academics and a compulsory 1-year internship. Guided by the motto "Learn, Serve, Succeed," the institution combines dental education with clinical training aimed at meeting the oral healthcare needs of Erode district and surrounding areas. The college runs a functioning dental hospital across departments including Oral Surgery, Prosthodontics, Periodontics, Pedodontics, Public Health Dentistry, Conservative Dentistry, and Orthodontics, and reported a monthly patient footfall of over 2,500 across these departments as of July 2026.
