About PSGR Krishnammal College for Women
PSGR Krishnammal College for Women (PSGRKCW) is an autonomous women's institution located at Peelamedu, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The college was inaugurated in June 1963 under the aegis of the GRG Trust and has grown over six decades as an institution focused on women's higher education. The college follows the motto of empowering through education and is affiliated to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. PSGRKCW has developed into a multidisciplinary institution offering more than 70 programmes across undergraduate, postgraduate, research, community college and other academic streams. The college website reports more than 425 faculty members and more than 8,500 students. Its infrastructure includes a 10-acre green campus, approximately 100 classrooms, 14 science laboratories, extensive library resources, computer facilities, digital learning infrastructure and multiple seminar and academic halls. The institution has a strong research and placement ecosystem.
