About Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital
Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital (SMCH) was established by the Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Charitable and Educational Trust in 2021 as a private, not-for-profit, self-financing institution dedicated to serving society as a centre of excellence in medical education and healthcare. It operates under Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Institute of Research and Technology, a Deemed to be University, under the founding leadership of Shri. A. Srinivasan, Founder & Managing Trustee of the Trust and first Chancellor of the University. Students receive hands-on training in wards and out-patient departments over five years, working directly with real patients to build skills in history-taking, examination, differential diagnosis, and patient management, followed by a 12-month rotating internship across specialties. The infrastructure spans over two million square feet of constructed space, including fully air-conditioned smart classrooms, modern laboratories, and the Central Library Learning Centre — described as one of the largest medical libraries in the region. The 25-acre green campus functions as a self-contained township with colleges, a medical centre, staff and student housing, conference facilities, playgrounds, and multi-cuisine restaurants.

Admission Process
NEET UG/PG Qualification
Candidates must qualify NEET-UG (for MBBS) or NEET-PG (for MD/MS) as per National Medical Commission norms.
Counselling via Deemed University / State Quota
Candidates participate in the applicable counselling process — either the Deemed University's own management/NRI quota counselling or the relevant central/state counselling round as applicable.
Document Verification
Original academic records, NEET scorecard, identity and category certificates are verified at the time of admission.
Fee Payment & Seat Confirmation
Selected candidates confirm their MBBS/MD/MS seat by paying fees as per the official prospectus.
Campus Reporting & Enrollment
Students report to the Samayapuram campus with original documents to complete enrollment and begin orientation.
