About St. Joseph's College (Arts & Science)
St. Joseph's College (Arts & Science) is a co-educational Christian institution established in 1994 and managed by the Society for Education for Life. The institution was taken over and managed by DMI Sisters from 2004 under the leadership of Rev.Fr.Dr.J.E.Arul Raj OMI, Founder and Chairman. The college aims to provide disciplined, value-based and technically oriented education while supporting the holistic development of students. It is approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu, affiliated to the University of Madras, accredited by NAAC with an A Grade in the first cycle, recognised under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956 and ISO certified. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Commerce, Computer Applications, Business Administration, English, Philosophy, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics with Computer Applications, Visual Communication, Hotel & Catering Management, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, along with postgraduate programmes in Computer Science, Philosophy, Social Work and Commerce. The institution also provides library, transport, hostel, canteen, computer and academic facilities and operates a dedicated Training and Placement Cell with campus recruitment, career guidance, skill-development and industry-oriented programmes.
