St. Mary's College of Health Sciences is part of St. Mary's Group of Institutions, run by the Geevarghese Education & Charitable Trust and founded in 2025 by Founder & Chairman Adv. P.V. Binu. The group operates dual campuses — one in Shenkottai, Tenkasi District, Tamil Nadu, and another in Vasudevanallur on the Kollam-Madurai Road extending into Kerala — with a stated mission to produce highly qualified, internationally acceptable healthcare professionals through a value-based, integrated educational philosophy. The institution offers a wide range of healthcare degree programmes including B.Sc Nursing, BNYS (Naturopathy), B.Sc Cardiac Technology, B.Sc Radiography & Imaging, B.Sc Operation Theatre & Anesthesia, B.Sc Medical Laboratory Technology, B.Sc Optometry, B.Sc Dialysis Technology, B.Pharm, D.Pharm, GNM, BPT, and B.Sc Agriculture. It is affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University and holds TNAI, TNC, and INC approvals, along with ISO 9001:2015 certification. The group has been recognized with the Mahathma Gandhi Excellence Award (2020), the Bharath Rathna Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Excellence Award (2019), and an Aviation Training Award (2019), and has held a convocation in partnership with Alagappa University.
