About Vinayaka Mission's Law School, Chennai
Vinayaka Mission's Law School (VMLS) is a constituent law school of Vinayaka Missions Research Foundation (Deemed to be University), located at Paiyanoor on Rajiv Gandhi Salai (OMR), Chennai. VMLS admitted its first cohort in 2021 and was established with the vision of creating a future-focused law school combining Indian legal education with global academic standards. The school offers integrated five-year B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.) programmes, a three-year LL.B. (Hons.) programme and specialized LL.M. programmes. The current LL.M. offerings include Corporate and Financial Laws, Commercial Dispute Resolution, Criminal Law and Practice, and Artificial Intelligence, Emerging Technologies and Intellectual Property Rights. VMLS is mentored by O.P. Jindal Global University and Jindal Global Law School under an institutional mentorship agreement. The school emphasizes bilingual legal education in English and Tamil, interdisciplinary learning, legal technology, clinical education, research, international exposure, mentorship and professional development. Its campus infrastructure includes smart classrooms, a well-stocked library with a strong digital backbone, a regal moot court hall, student-support facilities, legal aid and research centres, career services, sports and residential infrastructure.

Admission Process
Complete Required Qualification
For the five-year integrated programmes, candidates should have passed 10+2 or an equivalent qualification. For the three-year LL.B., candidates require a recognized bachelor's degree.
Apply Through VMLS Admission
Applicants complete the VMLS application process and, where applicable, participate in the Vinayaka Mission's Law Admission Test (VLAT).
Entrance / Merit Screening
Candidates are assessed through the applicable entrance-test, academic-merit and admission criteria for the selected programme.
Personal Interaction / Selection
Shortlisted candidates may participate in the university's additional evaluation or interaction process as prescribed.
Document Verification
Academic, identity and other required admission documents are verified.
Fee Payment & Confirmation
Selected candidates pay the applicable university fees and confirm admission.
Campus Reporting
Students report to the VMLS campus at Paiyanoor and complete enrollment and orientation.
