Wavoo Wajeeha Women’s College of Arts and Science was established in 2006 by Alhaj Wavoo S. Seyed Abdur Rahman and his family with a visionary zeal to promote quality higher education among women, particularly in rural and semi-urban coastal belts. Affiliated with Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, the college has achieved notable milestones, including a robust B++ grade accreditation by NAAC.
